REGIONAL OFFICES
Hines China Regional Office
Active in the Far East since the early 1990’s, Hines
established its China Regional Office in Beijing in 1995. Since
that time, Hines has successfully completed the development
of the leading residential high-rise building in Beijing –
Embassy House —and has added to its portfolio through
the acquisition of a new Class A office building – Millennium
Tower. Both are the leading buildings in their class in Beijing
and are located in the exclusive 2nd and 3rd Embassy Districts
of the city. Hines is also responsible for the management and
leasing of the buildings. All told, Hines has completed, owns
and manages a total of 1.7 million square feet of projects in
the region with another 7.4 million square feet underway..
Hines in China provides a full range of services, including
development management, construction management and property
management, and has successfully established multiple joint
ventures with foreign and local partners.
A Current Regional Initiative
Hines is currently developing Park Avenue Place —a 1,200-apartment
residential project in Beijing which will be for sale to Chinese
citizens. As one of the major drivers of China’s economy
in the new millennium, the demand for new, better quality housing
is significant. This product type represents a major opportunity
for Hines to build off its existing experience while creating
a new generation of high-quality housing for residents of Beijing,
and potentially Shanghai and other major cities. Superbly located
at the East 4th Ring Road and Chaoyang Park, Park Avenue Place
will further establish and differentiate Hines' unique presence
in the capital of the world’s most populous country.
