Hines Poland Office

Hines has been active in the Central and Eastern European market for over 15 years, completing residential, office and mixed-use developments in the Czech Republic and Russia. The establishment of Hines Poland in 1997 expanded the interests of Hines Europe to Poland.

Regional Initiatives

Completed in September 2003, Metropolitan is one of Poland’s most preferred office buildings for banks, law firms and consultancies. Located on the historic Pilsudski Square, this multi-use building combines 34,000 square meters (344,445 square feet) of office area with 4,000 square meters (43,056 square feet) of retail. Designed by Lord Norman Foster, the project has introduced the Polish market to a new standard of building systems and finishes.

Impresja, an upscale 27,000-square-meter (290,500-square-foot) residential complex of nearly 300 apartments in the picturesque Wilanów district of Warsaw, is expected to be delivered to residents in mid-2008.

In 2007 Hines started a 17,000-square-meter (183,000-square-foot) office project, and a 30,000-square-meter (323,000-square-foot) luxury hotel and residential project in central Warsaw.

Quattro Towers, a 23,000-square-meter (247,000-square-foot) upscale residential development, and Neptun, a 15,000-square-meter (161,400-square-foot) Class A office project - both in Gdansk - will break ground in 2008.

Similarly, an upscale 22,000-square-meter (237,000-square-foot) residential project and an 11,000-square-meter (118,000-square-foot) Class A office project are being started in Lódz.
