Setting the standard in office development
Hines developed its first high-rise office building in 1971, One Shell Plaza, which at the time was the tallest lightweight concrete structure in the world. Having made the jump from a five-story office building to the 51-story office tower, Hines set a high precedent for how it would affect international skylines in the coming decades. Having mastered the engineering and functional aspects of office buildings, the firm began to hire world-class architects to design its projects, setting a higher standard for aesthetic quality and, in turn, tenant demand. With more than 285 premier office developments in over a dozen countries, the company has successfully transferred its standard of excellence across continents and cultures, from North America to South America, Europe and Asia.
Ducat Place III
In Russia, Hines’ Ducat Place III development is among the premier international office locations in Moscow. This landmark Class A building of 33,000 square meters of highly efficient office space is currently 100% leased to a prestigious roster of international tenants. The 14-story building has large, column-free floorplates that permit tenant flexibility. Elegant finishes, state-of-the-art technological systems, underground parking, a city center location, and amenities place Ducat Place III at the top of the Moscow office market. The project was funded by the Hines Emerging Markets Real Estate Fund II. Hines is the developer, asset and property manager of the building.
