Setting the standard in retail development
Hines is responsible for development, development management and property management of more than 1.57 million square meters of retail space around the world. The firm’s retail projects range from the largest shopping and leisure complex in Catalonia, Spain – Diagonal Mar Centre – to a complex involving showrooms, restaurants and discotheques in the former East Berlin. Across continents and cultures, Hines’ retail developments all exhibit the firm’s commitment to architectural distinction and lasting value.
In Russia, Hines has been actively involved in the management of retail assets, including a long-term assignment at the IKEA Teply Stan Mega Mall, a 150,000 square meter regional mall in Moscow. Additionally, Hines is currently developing Russia’s first outlet retail concept, the 40,000-square-meter Outlet Village Belaya Dacha outside of Moscow.
