In independent studies, Hines consistently surpasses the “Best in Class” benchmark established by CEL. Temperature complaints in properties managed by Hines average less than one call per 250,000 square feet on a per working day basis.

This high level of tenant satisfaction manifests itself in another very significant way: tenant retention. Each year Hines calculates its performance in this critical area, and after adjusting for those tenants whose renewals Hines cannot influence (not enough space available, tenant consolidation, tenant goes out of business, tenant defaults), Hines' tenant retention averages more than 95 percent of its square footage that comes up for renewal.
