River East Center - Towers 500 and 600 Redevelopment
Detroit, MI
The River East Center - Towers 500 and 600 - consists of two 21-story, 307,000-square-foot energy-efficient office buildings with outstanding views of the Detroit River and Canadian skyline. General Motors purchased the two glass-façade towers in 1996 as part of their GM Renaissance Center global headquarters, and since that time, GM engaged Hines to manage this property and oversee all renovation projects - including a complete renovation of the lobby in 2003. The River East Center property includes 50,000 square feet of retail space and a three-level underground parking garage with 453 parking spaces.
