101 Second Street
San Francisco, CA
Completed in 2000, this 26-story building was acquired in tandem with 55 Second Street by the Hines U.S. Core Office Fund in 2004. 101 Second is defined at street level by its cornerstone of a dramatic glass-clad, four-story atrium which serves as an art pavillion featuring major art commissions by painter Charles Arnoldi and sculptor Larry Bell, as well as a significant public space for tenants and visitors. On warm days, the building at street level is opened to bring the outdoors inside.
