One Atlantic Center
Atlanta, GA

In 2006, Hines, on behalf of its Core Fund, acquired One Atlantic Center, a 1.1 million-square-foot landmark tower designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee, located in Atlanta’s thriving Midtown submarket. Situated immediately west of Hines’ 1180 Peachtree office development, One Atlantic Center soars 825 feet above Midtown and is an icon on the Atlanta skyline. Completed in 1987, the building is clad in stunning Spanish Rosa Porrino granite with a pyramid-shaped copper roof. The three-story entry lobby with granite and marble finishes enhances the overall graciousness and appeal of the property. In addition, the property has a dedicated two acre landscaped park and water features that complement the iconic building. In 2011, One Atlantic Center underwent a major renovation of its Concourse amenities, to include a new progressive café, fitness center and multi-purpose conference center.
