Paul Metter

Mr. Metter is Vice President, Estimating in the Conceptual Construction Group and is responsible for acquiring, assimilating and managing costs, schedules and other pertinent data related to projects from conception through the completion of the preconstruction phase. He has more than 45 years of providing preconstruction/estimating services for projects of all types and sizes and joined Hines in 2000. Recent projects include the 1.4 million-square-foot One Museum Place in Shanghai; Texas Tower, the future home of Hines’ global headquarters in Houston; and San Francisco’s Salesforce Tower, the second tallest building on the West Coast.

Metter earned his BS, Quantity Surveying from University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
