Hines Teams with NAI Welsh to Lease 100 and 111 Washington Square

(MINNEAPOLIS) – The Minneapolis office of Hines announced today that NAI Welsh has been hired to assist in leasing 100 and 111 Washington Square.

The office towers are part of the Washington Square campus, which is located in downtown Minneapolis at the confluence of the CBD and the Riverfront District.

“We look forward to teaming with Welsh and more specifically with Nils Snyder, Greg Moltumyr and Mike Doyle to lease the available space in these buildings.

Their experience, prospecting skills, and in-depth knowledge of the downtown CBD market provide an excellent addition to the Hines leasing team at Washington Square.

Given Washington Square’s prime location, a competitive leasing package, its extensive amenity base, its close proximity to transit, and easy access into and out of downtown, we are confident that we will attract value-driven tenants to these buildings,” said Bob Pfefferle of Hines.

The Washington Square campus totals approximately 989,000 square feet and is comprised of the six-story 20 Washington Avenue, the 22-story 100 Washington Avenue buildings (both of which were designed by the internationally acclaimed architect Minoru Yamasaki), and the 15-story 111 Washington Avenue building (designed by BWBR Architects).

In addition, the campus includes the 100 Hennepin Parking Ramp which offers over 1,000 parking spaces in close proximity to Washington Square.

The 100 and 111 Washington Square buildings offer excellent opportunities for tenants looking for 1,500-300,000 square feet of office space.

With an on-site park, an abundance of nearby green space and its close proximity to walking and biking trails, tenants and their employees are able to enjoy this urban campus setting while still being part of the Minneapolis CBD.

“We are excited about the opportunity to work with Hines on leasing these exceptional buildings, and believe that they are well-positioned to attract new tenants as the economy recovers and the downtown Minneapolis office market strengthens,” said NAI Welsh Vice President Greg Moltumyr.
