In 2014, Hines acquired Kronprinzbau, a 274,232-square-foot, mixed-used building located in the immediate vicinity of the Königstraße shopping mile.
Completed in 2005, the nine-story Kronprinzbau fits harmoniously into the cityscape with its shell limestone façade. The roof terraces on the fifth floor provide unique views on Stuttgart and enhance the rental levels for these office units.
The ground floor of Kronprinzbau is used as retail space with a high-class food market, a drugstore and luxury clothing stores. The building also hosts a Japanese restaurant, as well as a high-class restaurant on the ground-floor with an outside seating area.
