In 2020, Hines acquired Lenbachgaerten in Munich on behalf of two German investors. Lenbachgaerten is comprised of two first class office buildings that are currently leased to tenants McKinsey, Apple, Blackspace and Zirngibl. Both buildings total approximately 324,000 square feet (30,200 square meters) and have been awarded the DGNB Gold certificate for sustainability.
The properties are part of a mixed-use development that includes office, living/housing, restaurants, and a 5-star hotel. The complex is located in a rapidly growing urban environment just a few minutes from Munich's main railway station, which acts as an international traffic hub, and Stachus square.
Hines serves as asset manager and is completing ongoing refurbishments.
