In 2013, Hines Global REIT acquired the 481,070-square-foot New City office complex in Warsaw, Poland.
The Class A office buildings, New City and NC2, are situated at the intersection of four major arterial routes, with high visibility and access to numerous transport links with the city center and Warsaw's Chopin International Airport. The 11-story New City building contains 437,485 square feet and was completed in 2010, while the four-story NC2 building contains 43,585 square feet and was completed in 2013. The connected properties offer retail space on the ground floor and 1,291 parking spaces in three levels.
The original concept of the project was to create a "New City within the city" - an office, services and retail complex, providing a quality working and living environment. Its size and modern exterior design fit well with the surrounding office developments, and cause it to be easily recognized in the office district.
The building was sold in 2020 and Hines continues to provide asset management for the property.
