In 2007, Hines, on behalf of its U.S. Core Office Fund, L.P., acquired The Summit at Douglas Ridge I and II, a two building complex totaling 185,541 square feet, arranged in a campus-style setting with elaborate water features and a beautifully landscaped plaza. The buildings are clad in slate and glass against the Sierra mountain range backdrop. The interior is designed in natural stone and cherry wood and features a winding staircase. The Summit at Douglas Ridge I and II were sold in December 2012. Hines continues to manage the properties.
