Redmond Town Center (RTC) is presently a 506,000-square-foot open-air shopping center located in Redmond, WA. As development manager, Hines is working with Fairbourne Properties on the expansion and redevelopment of the site to create a dynamic, transit-oriented, mixed-use community that will invigorate Downtown Redmond. The project’s vision is to enrich the existing retail experience, create a vibrant atmosphere within the center, and enhance connectivity with downtown Redmond and the future Light Rail station.
Following a comprehensive repositioning and expansion plan, RTC will encompass a thoughtfully designed 14-acre mixed-use environment at the heart of Downtown Redmond, that will include either up to 900 units of multifamily housing or 550,000 square feet of office space to complement the existing retail center. Hines is currently entitling a master plan that will vest the project for 10 years.
Benefiting from its amenity-rich location, the project will provide convenient access to major employers, primary thoroughfares, and public transportation hubs.
