Doug Donovan
Chief Risk Officer / Houston, TX
Mr. Donovan serves as Chief Risk Officer, responsible for counseling the Investment Committee on investment risk. Since joining Hines in 1996, Mr. Donovan has held several investment management positions, most recently serving as fund manager for Hines Multifamily Investment Partners, a discretionary multifamily development vehicle. Since 2010, he has also been a member of the risk team involved with all Hines investments globally and he had a leadership role in the firm’s expansion into multifamily development in the U.S. Mr. Donovan is a member of the firm’s global Investment Committee as well as the Audit and Compliance Committee.
He graduated from the University of Texas with a BA in Accounting and a Masters in Professional Accounting.
