Vanessa Gelado
Senior Managing Director / Madrid, Spain
Vanessa Gelado is Senior Managing Director and Country Head of Hines' operations in Spain. She is responsible for all of the firm’s in-country activities including deal execution and management for acquisitions, new developments, dispositions and fee services spanning all sectors of real estate. Before joining Hines, she was Investment Director in Madrid at Neinver, a Pan European property company focused on retail and logistics. Prior to that she spent almost a decade working for real estate firms such as Tishman Speyer in London and Drago Capital in Madrid, having started her career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley in London.
Gelado is a graduate of ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas) and earned her Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School in New York. She has collaborated with IE in Madrid across a number of graduate programs and is a member of several associations such as Cercle d’Economia, the Urban Land Institute, Women in Real Estate Spain (WIRES).
