Antonio Carlos Ferreira Rosa Joins Hines as New Country Head for Brazilian Platform

(SÃO PAULO) – Hines, the international real estate firm, is pleased to announce that Antonio Carlos Ferreira Rosa has joined the firm as managing director and country head for the Hines Brazilian platform. Ferreira Rosa comes to Hines from G.P. Investments in São Paulo, where he served as Managing Director of Real Estate for the past five years. Before 2011, he spent 16 years with Gafisa S.A., one of the largest residential developers in Brazil.

Hines Brazil currently has $1.9 billion of assets under management. Since entering Brazil in 1998, Hines has developed a portfolio of projects in the industrial, residential and office sectors. The firm most recently joined with Tecnisa to make Hines’ largest Brazilian acquisition to date, securing a co-investment in Jardim das Perdizes in São Paulo; a massive mixed-use residential project with office, retail and hotel components. Hines Brazil also recently acquired an ongoing development in the Vila Mariana neighborhood of São Paulo, which consists of a 244-unit condominium project spanning four buildings.
