(FRANKFURT, GERMANY) RFR and Hines, the international real estate firm, have signed a long-term lease with the Gekko Group at 160 Park View, a residential and hotel project in Frankfurt's Westend district. The group will operate the Roomers Park View in the 19-story hotel tower. The hotel, located at Grüneburgweg 102, is scheduled to open at the end of 2020. In the adjoining 160 Park View building section, Hines and RFR are developing a 96-meter-high residential tower with high-class condominiums.
The 13,000 square meters of GLA will include 136 hotel rooms and suites. In addition to views over Grüneburgpark, future guests can look forward to a range of gastronomical offerings, a bar with a view of the Frankfurt skyline on the 19th floor, as well as a spa zone on the 18th floor. The interior of the Roomers Park View will be developed by Milan star designer, Piero Lissoni.
Dr Alexander Koblischek, spokesperson for RFR, says, "As Roomers sets the highest standards in design and service, the hotel fits perfectly into 160 Park View's high-quality concept and exclusive location."
The Gekko Group's founders, Micky Rosen and Alex Urseanu, were elected "Hoteliers of the Year" 2018 for their exceptional hotel concepts by trade journal, Allgemeine Hotel und Gastronomiezeitung. The hotel will be the two entrepreneurs’ second Roomers establishment in their home city of Frankfurt. Guests can already stay at Roomers on Gutleutstrasse. Further hotels are located in Munich and Baden-Baden.
Daniel Reichwein, managing director of Hines Germany, says, "The move-in of Roomers allows us to create additional synergy effects in 160 Park View. For example, the future inhabitants of the residential tower can make use of the hotel's gastronomical offers and spa areas. We are thus raising the standard of living comfort even further and creating added value for the residents."
