(NASHVILLE) – Hines announced today that Silicon Ranch Corporation, one of the fastest-growing developers, owners, and operators of solar energy plants in the United States, will occupy about 19,000 square feet in 222, a 25-story building under construction in downtown Nashville. With the lease newly signed, plans are underway to move into the space in the first quarter of 2018. Silicon Ranch will be leasing the 19th floor of 222, which brings its leased status of office space to 62 percent of the building’s 362,000 office square feet.
Designed by Gresham Smith & Partners, 222 is located across from the city’s 12-acre Riverfront Park and Ascend Amphitheatre, and will also include 28,000 square feet of street-level retail amenities, which will include four restaurants and other retail services. The property will offer office tenants best-in-class amenities which include: an outdoor terrace with seating, fire pits, outdoor televisions, bar service, and unparalleled views of the park, amphitheater and Cumberland River; a club-quality fitness center with lockers and showers; a facility for outdoor yoga and Pilates classes; collaborative meeting space and social work area; and a tenant conference room.
