Ripamonti 35 was acquired in late 2018 through a joint venture between Hines and Blue Noble, an independent real estate investment management company.
Ripamonti 35 is the former home of “Consorzio Agrario”, an industrial site used for agricultural business, and is part of the collective heritage of the city. The existing six floor building will be completely refurbished, creating an iconic central courtyard that will be overlooked by a new, stepped building ranging from five to nine floors high. The new international campus will feature over 700 beds in more than 600 high quality units in a range of stylish room types for students and young professionals, a significant share of which will have capped rents.
The campus, covering a total area of approximately 32,000 square meters (344,445 square feet), is a 10-minute walk from Bocconi University and less than a 10-minute bike ride to the city center. The area is undergoing a complete urban regeneration and will be the site for the Olympic village for 2026 Olympic Winter Games. The project will provide a modern design, revitalizing the surrounding urban fabric and generating new synergies with the universities nearby. The perfect base for anyone searching for a vibrant and dynamic community in which to study and live, empowering students’ and professionals’ ambitions and aspirations, Ripamonti 35 will operate a strong experience program with a complete range of services, including beautiful rooftop terraces and common areas, stores/retail units, bar & restaurant, parking, bike storage, laundry, study rooms, library, cinema, games room, gym and yoga studio. Ripamonti 35 will boast a holistic wellbeing approach with great emphasis on mental wellbeing.
The asset, due to open in the second half of 2022, will be managed directly by Hines through a dedicated student housing platform launched by the Group, specializing in the management of student accommodation.
