In May 2021, Hines and Oaktree acquired Milmont Industrial, an infill, unentitled, 14-acre industrial redevelopment site in the Fremont submarket. Fremont is the strongest performing industrial submarket in the Bay Area with demand from elite credit tech and advanced manufacturing users. The site is located adjacent to I-880, the primary interstate connecting East Bay and South Bay submarkets.
Milmont Industrial will be a Class-A industrial development, with a 36-foot clear height and flexible design to accommodate different tenant bases. Construction on Milmont Industrial is expected to conclude in 2025.
