In July 2018, Hines, in partnership with Ärzteversorgung Westfalen-Lippe (ÄVWL)—one of Germany’s largest occupational pension funds— acquired the Olympus Campus, currently under construction in Hamburg.
Located in Hamburg’s City Süd, Olympus Campus stands on a prominent 8,600-square-meter site and will deliver approximately 47,000 square meters of office space across 11 floors. At completion, the building will be utilized by Japanese medical technology manufacturer Olympus, which will occupy nearly 38,000 square meters. It will serve as the company’s headquarters for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The development will offer flexible floor plans that allow various office concepts which meet the needs and expectations for a modern working environment. Olympus Campus will be regarded as one of the most advanced and sustainable buildings in the area.
Completion is scheduled for 2020.
